The Boroughs Of Quebec City
The boroughs of Quebec City have their own building department offices.
It is usually referred to as the Bureau d’arrondissement (similar to District Office).The ‘District Office’ in each area reviews the plans (drawings) for any type of construction work, which takes place in its area. Once they approve the submitted plans, they issue the building permit, electrical permit, sign permits, etc., which are required to begin construction. They oversee both residential and commercial projects. The following offices are listed alphabetically.
